The Lakeville Area Historical Society

Since 1995, the Lakeville Area Historical Society has been conducting interviews, documenting and preserving information about our community

Located at the Heritage Center, 20110 Holyoke Avenue in Lakeville, the Society hosts a vibrant museum displaying a vast array of people, places and events such as the Antlers Park, Weichselbaum Resort, iconic Downtown Lakeville, Lakeville Creamery, Lakeville Schools, and much more.

We also have a growing treasure trove of files and documents collected over the years, including photographs and other items that have been donated to the Lakeville Area Historical Society.

The Lakeville Area Historical Society connects the community with its past by providing informative displays adjacent to the Museum, sponsoring educational programs, publishing its findings in the quarterly newsletter, and partnering with the City of Lakeville to produce videos.

We encourage residents and visitors to visit our museum, volunteer and support the preservation of local history.
